ABOUT

This is a complex coffee underpinned by a beautiful acidity and produced in the Jimma appellation. The region is reputed to be a birthplace of Arabica coffee. It is a coffee that is harvested at a large farm immersed in a beautiful forest with a remarkable biodiversity. It is produced by Blen Berhane, who chose to return to Ethiopia after spending several years in the United States to put his energy into producing quality coffees.

THE TERROIR OF SEKA

This farm, located in the woreda of Seka in the Jimma appellation, is located at an altitude of between 1,800 and 2,000 metres. It is covered in a beautiful forest with a rich biodiversity.
It spreads over 650 hectares, 420 of which are planted with coffee. The plantation is managed by Blen Berhane, owner of Bazen Plantation Plc.
The farm is divided into 4 zones, that were planted between 2000 and 2008. The mocha varieties found here are predominantly 74110, 74158, 74165 and 74140
