Procedure :
- The competition takes place in the form of a multi-round tournament.
- In each round, 6 competitors prepare their coffee simultaneously.

- At the end of the session, each coffee is poured into identical cupping bowls (with a numbered label under the bowl) and then presented to the three judges.
- The judges taste the coffees with a cupping spoon for 3 minutes and individually choose the best.
- On the count of 3, 2, 1, the judges simultaneously point to the coffee they consider to be the best.
- The bowl is lifted, the number is revealed, and the winner is announced. They advance to the next round; the others are eliminated.
Judgment criteria
A clean and balanced cup that highlights the coffee to extract its full potential and reveal it. A few details:
- Each round is judged blindly using cupping techniques
- The participant's name or number is completely hidden under the cup.
- No scorecard is used. Judges evaluate according to specified criteria.
- Each judge makes his or her decision independently, without discussion with the others.
- On the count of 3, 2, 1, all judges point to the cup they have chosen.
- Then the MC lifts the winning cup and announces the winner of the round.
- If each judge chooses a different cup, the head judge tastes the coffees and selects the winner.
