ABOUT
This coffee is produced on Saquarema farm located near the town of Carmo do Cachoeira in the Sul de Minas at 1050 meters above sea level. This farm is one of the oldest in the region, it is over 200 years old. The original building is still in place and has been dedicated to coffee production for 4 generations. The producer is Ricardo Aguiar. He produces organic coffee but also raises cattle and forestry. The farm covers 390 hectares of which 130 are dedicated to coffee. You can find 145 hectares of eucalyptus. The varieties produced on this farm are mundo novo, yellow catuai, red catuai and icatu.
This coffee perfectly reflects the cup profile of the Minas Gerais region, a round body, a nice acidity and fruity aromas.

THE TERROIR OF SUL DE MINAS
Sul de Minas terroir covers 390 hectares just in the south of Minas Gerais State. Characterized by hills and valleys called "Mares de morro", we can find there great plains and tropical forests.
