In the early 2000s, Misael Ochoa moved to the United States to help his family financially. His dream had always been to own a property in the mountains and produce coffee. So when he had the opportunity, he returned to Honduras in 2013. A year later, he started growing coffee on his farm in Mis Peñitas.
Two years later, in 2015, Misal Ochoa launched into speciality coffee, and prepared his first micro-batch. Today, he has developed real experience in growing and processing micro-lots.
His vision? To make Mis Peñitas a peaceful place for him and his family, where they can breathe in the fresh mountain air and grow their own fruit and vegetables to live a healthy life, in the heart of the mountains where he has always wanted to live.
