Coffee Village grows only the traditional bourbon variety, organically

Coffee Village's latest projects on the plantation include the planting of 20,000 agroforestry and fruit trees. Then there is the reforestation of the area around the plantation, against the wind, with 5,000 trees.

Coffee Village is driven by a 3-pronged philosophy: quality, environment and community. Coffee Village grows only the traditional bourbon variety, organically.

During harvesting and processing, the coffee from each plot is isolated to ensure maximum traceability.

Harvesting is selective and manual. Only ripe cherries are harvested, before being washed. Once pulped, the cherries ferment for 12 hours. They are then washed and placed in the shade, before being dried for 21 days on drying beds. To circulate the air and ensure even drying, the cherries are stirred regularly.

No chemicals are used on the farm. Coffee Village uses only organic fertilizers. Coffee Village's latest projects on the plantation include the planting of 20,000 agroforestry and fruit trees. Then there is the reforestation of the area around the plantation, against the wind, with 5,000 trees.

But Coffee Village's work doesn't stop there. For the Taba community, Coffee Village is involved on a social level, with help with building houses, health insurance offered to 20 people, support in diversifying producers' income (beehives, goats for milk, etc.).
