In the heart of the Sierra Nevada, in northern Colombia, live the Arhuaco people. Sixty young members of these communities created the Seynekun association, which now enables nearly 800 people to benefit from their initiatives. Their ambition is to produce exceptional-quality cacao while helping improve local living conditions.
Seynekun brings a new approach to cacao production: the post-harvest phase is centralized and entrusted to the most trained young members, ensuring better control of the process. The resulting cacao highlights the richness of the Colombian terroir as well as the knowledge and practices passed down through generations within the Arhuaco community.
