EUDR =
EUROPEAN UNION DEFORESTATION REGULATION
From 1 January 2026, Europe will implement a new rule for imported products linked to deforestation, including coffee and cacao.
In short, for any of these products to legally enter Europe, it will be necessary to prove that its cultivation does not contribute to deforestation, that it complies with the legislation of the country of production, and that the importer or sourcer verifies its exact traceability and analyses the production-related risks. Every imported product will need to be fully traceable down to the plot of land, and be accompanied by a due diligence statement (proof of compliance).
We are ready after two years of work on this subject. We are sharing the steps we have put in place to achieve 100% compliance.
