Edvin Emmanuel's father is an experienced coffee producer who started working on La Montaña farm long before his son was born. This farm is the very symbol of the transmission of coffee growing from father to son. His father's health was critical and it was difficult for him to take care of La Montaña, which due to its geographical location was difficult to access.
While Edvin Emmanuel was the owner of La Lempira farm, out of kindness, he offered to take care of La Montaña and gave up his place on his farm to his father. Today Edvin Emmanuel has improved the quality of the coffee in La Montaña farm by planting only the Parainema variety, known for its cup quality and resistance to rust.
