This small family farm, Paul got it from his father, who got it himself from his father. This farm has been in the family for over 40 years. Paul restored coffee farming here again 10 years ago. This crop had been abandoned for several years in Nyeri region but is now again cultivated in small family farms. The coffee trees are here integrated into polyculture systems, with fruits and vegetables that can be sold on the local market.
