Don Alexis Alvarado is a brilliant man, a visionary who teaches us something new every time we talk to him.
Born into a family of coffee growers, he inherited the family estate from his father and now runs it with his son. As well as producing coffee, for many years he was president of a large cooperative in the region. Today, he dreams of a fairer market for producers so that his descendants can live in peace.
