If ever there was a community that was organised and committed to its own development, it's the community of La Trinidad, in the state of León Cortés, whose president is Don Alexis Alvarado.
In this large regional cooperative, residents have put aside their differences and worries and found a way to develop and grow as a community.
The school, sports ground, church, community hall and road linking the village to the centre of León Cortés have all been built thanks to the efforts of its members. This is how the 40 local families express their joy and satisfaction at being part of this small village.
