A small territory in the green mountains of the Quindio Department
This coffee comes from the oldest trees on the farm, which were planted 16 years ago. "We chose to keep them for their genetics and good adaptation and cup results. What I like most about this variety is its consistent sweetness, good body, and its reliable citrus and sugarcane notes, with the process enhancing blueberry and spice notes. Throughout the year, we carry out practices such as desuckering, pruning, pest control, fertilization, and weed control to ensure good flowering cycles and bean development. During the second semester of 2023 and the first semester of 2024, we achieved a yield of 640 arrobas of parchment coffee."

The farm Finca Buenos Aires
Finca Buenos Aires is located in the municipality of Montenegro, in the department of Quindío, at an altitude of between 1,300 and 1,350 metres above sea level. It extends over 14 hectares, entirely planted with coffee, as well as other crops such as bananas, maize, beans, cocoa, other fruit trees and floral corridors as part of the "Corridors of Flowers" project.
This farm is very special, because it is like a gift that the earth and Jesus' father have given to him and his family. It is the result of many years' hard work and represents the possibility of prolonging coffee growing. Although the initial conditions in which they received the farm were very unfavourable, with small but constant exercise and effort, they managed to build their own Micro - Beneficio (small processing station) and this is something that makes the family proud and raises their awareness, because it shows them day after day that with humility it is possible to overcome obstacles and challenges to achieve good results.

Meet Jesus Bedoya
A few words about Jesus Bedoya
Jesus comes from a farming family. His grandfather farmed the fields, and his father mainly grew coffee. It was thanks to this work that his children and grandchildren were able to study different university careers. Jesús is a small/medium producer from Quindío, who mainly grows Caturra, Colombia Variety and Bourbon for the Estate Coffee category, but also produces Micro lots and Nano lots with exotic varieties and differentiated processes. All his production is organic and sustainable.
When you meet Jesus, his slow and thoughtful way of speaking, taking care with every word, demonstrates his wisdom in life and in the field. That integrity is what has forged his purpose on the farm to not only maintain his family's legacy but to improve it through ecological practices out of pure conviction.
In addition, for him the associative cultivation of different fruits such as corn, beans, bananas, cocoa, among others, is fundamental. And as if this were not enough, because of the great biodiversity found in the Buenos Aires farm, he is part of our project "Flowers Corridors" project. There are many floral corridors that combine with the shade trees and other fruits, not only for a better coffee, but also for a better future.
