Clean and organic coffee with a characteristic profile of the terroir

Produced in the famous Huehuetenango region of Buenos Aires by an association of local producers, the cherries come from the Bourbon, Typica, Caturra and Catuaí varieties. Most of the farms are located at an altitude of 1900m.

The process in a few words: harvesting is manual and selective; after a fermentation time of 12 hours, the coffees are left to dry on patios for 8 to 10 days; then they are processed.

The terroir Buenos Aires

The Buenos Aires terroir is located at an altitude of 2,000 metres, in the Huehuetenango region of western Guatemala, near Segundo Carrizal and close to Buena Vista.

The terroir of Buenos Aires is renowned for the quality of its coffees, due in no small part to beneficial climatic factors. Warm winds blow in from the Mexican plain of Tehuantepec, providing high temperatures at altitude. The wind also strengthens the Arabica plants, making them more robust. The coffees grow in the shade of endemic species on nutrient-rich limestone soil.
