Copinol Escondido is a small family-run farm in El Salvador, driven by a deep agricultural and environmental vision.
To reach it, one must walk nearly 40 minutes through waterfalls, cacao plantations, and tropical forest up to the mountain’s summit, where a majestic Copinol tree (Hymenaea courbaril) stands — the inspiration behind Elmer’s farm name.
At Copinol Escondido, sustainability is part of everyday life: continuous replanting of fruit trees, manual soil care, and organic fertilization maintain a healthy and productive ecosystem.
This natural approach results in high-quality cacao, grown with respect for the land and the rich biodiversity of the Salvadoran forest.
