ABOUT

This coffee is grown in southern Mexico, in the Motozintla terroir, at an altitude between 1200 and 1320 meters in the shade of Ingas. The region has a temperate climate, with mild temperatures in the winter and warmer in the summer. Produced by Jorge Arreola Nava on his finca Santa Fé, he works to preserve coffee production by fighting pollution and prohibiting hunting and flower picking.

SANTA FÉ

The Santa Fé farm is situated in the Motozintla region in the south of Mexico at an altitude of 1,200 metres. It enjoys a temperate climate with minimum temperatures of 18 °C in the winter and maximum temperatures
of 27 °C in the summer. It is a farm steeped in history, founded in 1855 by a Mexican family. It used to be a part of the Guatemalan zone, until Chiapas became Mexican in 1824.

The story
of the producer

Having worked for many years in the banking sector, Jorge Arreola Nava decided to embark on his coffee adventure in 2009. He began as an exporter. Today he runs the Santa Fé finca, managing not only its administrative tasks but also the production and supervision of organic farming methods.
