For the first time ever, we are able to offer a Caturra lot from Finca Colombia. The farm's producer, Catalina, worked for many months to produce this coffee, questioning her techniques and searching to improve quality. When we first visited her farm, we did not feel that that her coffee met our quality requirements, or that it did justice to the potential of her terroir. As a result of Marjorie's technical assistance and by reviewing her production methods, Catalina has achieved a high level of coffee excellence without neglecting the farm's social and environmental commitments.
This coffee is produced mainly from fully-washed Caturra. It offers everything that a good Antioquian coffee should: a medium acidity, a great body with a cocoa-like sensation in the cup, and a long aftertaste of red fruit.
