Cinchona Estate is owned by the Shirly family. Situated between 750 and 1,500 metres above sea level, this plantation enjoys excellent climatic conditions for coffee production. Cinchona Estate is located on a hillside in the southern Blue Mountains, in the east of Jamaica. It is called Cinchona in reference to the first products grown on the farm, the Cinchona tree, which produces quinine. The farm began growing coffee in 2011, washed at the Javage station in Stoneleigh, just a few minutes' drive from the farm.
