This washed Castillo, fermented by oxidation for 18 hours, comes from Hacienda Misiones in El Colegio, Cundinamarca, a place where coffee is grown by those who call the land home.

More than a crop, this coffee is a reflection of a dedicated team, proud of their roots and driven by a shared vision: to produce excellence and evolve with purpose.

Once known for having over 700 hectares of Castillo in production, the hacienda now stands out for the quality and uniqueness of its cup profile. A coffee that continues to capture the interest of roasters and buyers around the world.

This coffee is a washed Castillo, oxidatively fermented for 18 hours at Hacienda Misiones, located in El Colegio, Cundinamarca.

What makes this coffee special is the human connection behind every step. A committed, united team brings it to life, people who not only work on this land, but live on it and care deeply for it. Their sense of purpose, pride, and constant pursuit of excellence are reflected in every cup, as recognized by the clients and visitors who’ve experienced it firsthand.

Our Castillo variety has earned recognition over time. Initially for being one of the largest plantations of its kind, with over 700 hectares under cultivation. Today, although the planted area has decreased, the coffee continues to stand out for its unique flavor profile, drawing attention from diverse and distant markets.
