In Sundanese language, Sekar Kiamis, sometimes written Sekar Ki Amis, literally means 'the cinnamon flower'. The name refers to the small, pale yellow flowers of the cinnamon tree, discreet but carrying a sweet, warm, and comforting fragrance. More poetically, the expression also evokes a natural sweetness and a soothing character.
Produced in the Garut region, West Java, this coffee combines Typica and Catimor varieties.
It is processed using the natural method. After harvesting and sorting the ripe cherries, they are cleaned then dried whole, until they reach a Moisture Content of 10 to 12 %.
