Daniel Quispe bought his farm in 1994. He chose to call it Canan (which means blessing) to echo the richness of the farm, which he himself defines as a blessed farm. The altitude of 1415 meters above sea level, the abundance of water and the fertility of the soil are favourable to the cultivation of varieties such as Catuai and Caturra. Cultivation under shade favours the growth of this exceptional coffee. Cedars and endemic species such as Sikili can be found all around the coffee trees.
