Finca Surco, located in the Yungas of Bolivia, specifically in the municipality of Caranavi, is a coffee farm managed by Dionicio Surco. With a total extension of 12 hectares, 3 of which are dedicated to the cultivation of Catuaí Rojo coffee at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level, the farm is characterized by its simple agroforestry approach, using shade trees such as cedar and sikily. Coffee production at Finca Surco is carried out on a family basis, which ensures close and constant control over the crops. To guarantee soil fertility, sustainable agricultural practices are employed, such as the use of organic fertilizers, which help maintain the health of the soil in a natural way. In addition, the farm benefits from an agroforestry environment that protects the coffee trees and contributes to soil conservation.
