About

This coffee is produced in a dense forest, composed of more than 15 different tree species, which Fahem takes great care to preserve. Fahem operates a moderate management of the coffee trees, without any chemical inputs and with an exclusively manual harvest. The farm is located in the heart of the Jimma appellation, at an an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level and covers 200 hectares. Fahem also works with 670 farmers from the surrounding area, whose collected coffee is processed in the Limmu washing station. The name 'Limmu' is traditionally associated with fully washed coffee from the Jimma area, as this was the name of the first washing station in the area some decades ago. By way of distinction, the natural coffees from this area are called "Jimma". The coffee produced here is from varieties 74110 and 75227 which Fahem finds at the Jimma Research Center.
