Miguel Luis has a 7-hectare plantation in the mountainous and volcanic region of Llusta located north of La Paz. He cultivates exclusively caturra at 1650 meters above sea level. His plantation is surrounded by native forests and under the shade of trees like Sikili.

Bolivia produces 100% Arabica, with mountainous landscapes in medium-sized land areas of approximately 4 ha per family. Producers have other products on their plots that are mostly used for their own consumption and not for trade.
