San Isidro
Volcan del Chingo

About

Located on the slopes of the "Chingo" volcano, behind the Apaneca - Ilamatepec mountain range, the San Isidro plantation benefits from an exceptional environment. It is located on the land of El Paste, very close to the Guatemalan border because the summit crater of El Chingo is in Guatemala. San Isidro produces a high quality 100% red bourbon coffee, cultivated on the highest plots of the farm at 1300 m above sea level. The coffee trees benefit from a subsoil rich in nutrients, an annual temperature of 20 ° C and regular rainfall guaranteeing constant development of the cherries. The harvest is done by hand over five passes and the cherries are then processed by the Cuzcachapa cooperative.
