Sitio Cambuta

About

Araponga is one of Brazil's most prestigious regions and boasts high altitudes. Its highest mountain, Pico da Neblina, reaches 2,900 metres at its peak. The Sitio Cambuta farm is situated at an altitude of 1,100 metres, at the heart of this specialty coffee region. It is located near the Sossego Forest, which has successfully preserved the largest primate in the Americas, the northern muriqui. This is a real asset for coffee production, since the coffee is cultivated using a semi-forest system, providing enough shade for the coffee trees to be able to ripen more slowly. The farm benefits also from the type of equipment needed to produce high-quality coffee. Its washing station, cemented areas and African beds allow the producer to control all the coffee processing stages, from production to bagging.
