The Sitio Jardim Das Oliveiras farm is situated in one of Brazil's most prestigious coffee micro-regions: Araponga. 
Situated deep within the great southern Matas de Minas region, known the world over for owning some of Brazil's largest coffee-producing properties, Araponga is one of the most mountainous Matas regions and its average altitudes are therefore higher than in the rest of the Matas de Minas appellation. 

The farm is located at an altitude of 1,100 metres, 30 kilometres southwest of the town of Araponga. Of the farm's 43 hectares, only 20 hectares are devoted to coffee farming and the rest is preserved as forest. The coffee is picked manually and very selectively to ensure optimal cherry quality. The cherries are then dried on the patios in the same day.

Brazil boasts a light intensity and regular rainfall that allow crops to be grown in full sun. Most regions are flat, some are irrigated.
