To meetSolimar Tomazini

A few words about Solimar Tomazini

Like many other producers in the region, Solimar Tomazini comes from a family of Italian immigrants. His family arrived in Brazil in 1902, on the initiative of his grandfather. Even then, the family wanted to plant coffee, but the region's cold, windy climate compromised productivity. As a result of their hard work and determination, and thanks to the new planting and production techniques introduced by a family member, they were able to grow and harvest their first cherries. The results were so promising, thanks to their innovative methods, that other producers in the region followed the same path. Today, Solimar works daily with his wife Ivanete and their two sons, Dijean and David. A family business that still has many promising years of production ahead...
