The parent company of Puly is Asachimici (formerly ASA – Azienda Saponi Affini), founded in 1890 from a detergent factory run by Giovanni Carubelli, then taken over by his son Erminio and his brother-in-law Giacomo.
In the 1940s, the company shifted its focus to technical detergents, and in 1961 Giancarlo Carubelli (a chemical technician) launched pulyCAFF®, the first product designed specifically for cleaning espresso machines – removing oils, fine particles and coffee residues.
Since then, the brand has developed a complete range of products (for cleaning groups, steam wands, grinders, hoppers, etc.) with a focus on safety and efficiency.
