From raising cows and planting vegetables to producing coffee
In 1973, the Pessin family moved to Piaçu, in the municipality of Muniz Freire, to raise cows and plant corn and beans. 5 years later, the family became involved in coffee plantation. From 1977, the family left the raising and decided to dedicate themselves to coffee culture. Year after year, they increased the area of coffee planted. A responsible single variety farm
The Pessin family decided to bet on the robusta variety Conilon because the local climate is favourable to its culture. The preservation of natural resources is important to the family. Thanks to solar panels, the farm is self-sufficient in electricity.
Capixaba simply means native of the Espirito Santo region. This robusta conilon has a very clean robusta cup profile. We can also note light fruit aromas and a touch of acidity.
