Tangara

In the heart of the Eastern Andes lies Boyacá, a land long known for its agricultural and cultural richness, now revealing a new treasure: its coffee. Traditionally associated with crops such as potatoes, corn, and barley, Boyacá is emerging as a distinctive region within Colombian coffee production.

Its mountains, rising between 1,200 and 2,000 meters above sea level, create a mosaic of microclimates where coffee thrives. With temperatures ranging from 16 to 22 °C, generous rainfall throughout the year, and mineral-rich soils, the result is beans full of complexity and unique character.

Coffee cultivation is concentrated in provinces such as Occidente, Lengupá, Márquez, Neira, and the Valle de Tenza, where smallholder farmers combine deep-rooted traditions with innovative practices. Each farm carefully tends its crops, with a focus not only on productivity but on quality and differentiation.
