Two Horizons is a community coffee crafted by the members of Cooperativa de Caficultores del Centro del Valle - Caficentro, an organization founded more than six decades ago to help producers overcome market challenges and build a stronger future together. Today, over 1,300 member farmers contribute to this coffee, cultivating their farms across the rolling slopes of both the Central and Western mountain ranges of Valle del Cauca.
The coffee is grown between 1,250 and 1,700 meters above sea level, in a landscape shaped by volcanic soils, bimodal rainfall patterns, and a remarkable diversity of microclimates. These conditions allow coffee trees to develop slowly and consistently, contributing to a clean, balanced, and approachable cup profile.
Cultivated primarily from Castillo and Cenicafé 1 varieties, and carefully hand-harvested by producer families, the coffee is fully washed and dried using a combination of sun and mechanical drying methods. Throughout the process, Caficentro maintains rigorous quality controls and full traceability, ensuring each lot reflects the dedication of the farmers behind it.
More than a coffee, Two Horizons represents the meeting point of two mountain ranges, hundreds of farming families, and generations of coffee knowledge. It is a reflection of the collective spirit that has shaped the coffee culture of Valle del Cauca for decades.
